The project
The Women’s Endowment Fund’s rebrand project was a collaborative process with a community nonprofit organization. The fund requested a refresh of the primary logo and three subset logos. Updated branding materials, including an email newsletter template, have also been created. The updated brand honors the style of the original logo, while incorporating a modern, sophisticated aesthetic and more color opportunities for the fund’s evolving community.

Before & after:
The font
The selected serif typeface is an updated version of the former Women’s Endowment Fund brand. It’s a modern, sophisticated font with subtly rounded edges that was chosen to complement the icon and Akron Community Foundation co-branding. By modernizing the typeface, we show the evolution of the brand while remaining true to the history of the fund.

The colors
The palette was chosen for its richness and sophistication. The selection of sage green evolved from the former Women’s Endowment Fund logo and brand. The semi-formal earth tones are meant to express that the Women’s Endowment Fund is inclusive to all genders and the colors provide neutrality without being boring.

Email style template
The following guidelines and graphics were established for email communications, so The Fund can maintain their own marketing and communications while honoring the brand. Guidelines took into consideration the current styles available in the organization's preferred email platform, Constant Contact. Templates were also created and stored in the organization's Constant Contact account for easy editing.
